Another thought-provoking post, Gerhard. I have always been a fan of using visualisation techniques to assist my sales planning and goal setting. I've written about it previously here: http://www.sellingatahigherlevel.com/2009/07/visualising-success-10-simple-steps/

When stuck in the day-to-day it's often hard to stop and find time to think, however, when we do find time it can make a huge difference.
